If you want something that will really excite you, then why not explore the Museum of Natural Science at night? Most attractions shut when the sun sets, but not this one. It’s action-packed and some of the exhibitions only open at night too.

They have various shows that run throughout the year and host many educational events. Some of them include group dinners, scavenger hunts or even the planetarium show.

See the Lights

If you want to see the lights, why not hop on a double-decker bus? City light tours are often held at night and they go through the Historic District. If you want to take your trip to that next level, then consider looking at hotel rooms in Houston.

Some of them are even able to offer you a free breakfast too, and that’s a welcome feature when you’ve been out all night. Some of the bus tours that go around Houston actually give you a complimentary hot chocolate while playing music and commentary, so you can sit back and relax without a care in the world.

Houston is full of bars, and some of them are incredibly luxurious. If you have nothing to do, then it’s always a good idea to check them out. Wooster’s Garden for example combines a very unique and modern setting with a huge selection of cocktails.

You’ll also find that they have some craft beers too. Of course, there are also plenty of other beers for you to choose from as well so if you want something different then it is always worth paying them a visit.

The A.D Player’s Theatre is located within the heart of the city. It’s known for its culture and they have a very diverse selection of shows. As if that wasn’t enough, they also have night time performances too. They have workshops all year round and this is one of the many reasons why so many people choose to pay them a visit every single year.

You’ll want to book your tickets in advance if you do go to see a show, however, because if you don’t, you may end up missing out on the best seats. If this doesn’t bother you, then you’ll be glad to know that you can buy tickets on the door, so you can always take advantage of a spontaneous trip.

So there are many places that you can go and visit when you’re in Houston. You would be surprised at how easy it is for you to make the most out of your trip if you want to find out more about what Houston has to offer then why not think about going on a sightseeing tour, or even connecting with some of the locals to see if they can advise you.
