Baked Honey Mustard Chicken Recipe


I love to cook, I may not be amazing at it, but it's a time to get creative and create something delicious!

One of my signature dishes is Honey Mustard Chicken. Super easy, super tasty and of course lets many people think" WOW How did she do that!" Come Dine With Me, you have a new winner! Here is what you need.

  • Honey - (Any) 1/4 to 1/3 cup honey

  • Mustard 1/4 to 1/3 cup smooth Dijon mustard

  • Chicken Breasts x2

  • Sweet Corn - Simple Can

  • Broccoli

  • Mushrooms

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 small sprigs rosemary

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mustard, honey, and olive oil chuck the breasts in and pop them it in the fridge for 30 mins.

2. Cut up some broccoli, and onions and place individual foil papers on a baking tray, place a few bits of broccoli and scattered onions on the folio. Place the Chicken Breasts in each foil piece, sprinkle some Basil and pour the rest of the leftover sauce onto the chicken.

3. Fold the foil over and create a little packet.Place in the oven for 20 Mins, check, shake until steamed and juicy. (Want to make it creamy add some double cream!)

This can be eaten with small potatoes or rice, so whatever you prefer. If you want it sweeter add more honey, stronger more mustard. I tend to grab some Tesco small potatoes in a pack and make a mozzarella olive oil salad.
