Berry, to design its new event series. He said: “The Balmoral has created something really
fresh and exciting with its Spring Sessions, which I’m sure will be well-received by locals and
international visitors alike. By inviting young artists such as Zarif and established names on
the circuit like Jon Nickoll to perform under Palm Court’s glass dome, The Balmoral is now a
glamorous addition on the Edinburgh music scene.”
Claudio Ciccotti, Food & Beverage Director, The Balmoral, said: “Palm Court is the glittering
centrepiece of our exquisite hotel and we wanted to open up this beautiful setting to add to
Edinburgh’s already vibrant music scene.
As well as a selection of Champagne on offer our mixologist has created a number of cocktails for the occasion including our Spring Into Summer cocktail – made with Hennessy Fine de Cognac, sugar, a dash of Angostura bitters and crowned with R de Ruinart Champagne. Starting with Spring Sessions, our hope is that Palm Court will become one of the city’s leading venues for stellar performances from top
class musical acts in a sophisticated setting.”
